Donating retirement funds (IRAs, 401(k), 403(b) plans, and 457(b) plans)
In the US, when you reach the age of 72, there is a requirement to withdraw a minimum distribution from retirement funds annually to avoid tax penalties, and the distribution will be included as taxable income. But, if you donate from the distribution, the funds are considered a tax-free qualified charitable distribution (QCD). Likewise, if you inherit a retirement plan from someone who was not your spouse, the balance of the account must be distributed within ten years. Stock Donation
Donations of appreciated stock can present a tax advantage to the donor while helping to support the work of Padrino. To discuss donating stock, write to Nancy Naigle at info@padrinocf.org.
Building Fund Donations
Your donations to our fund dedicated to the new Padrino Pediatric Health Center will allow Padrino to provide a future of sustainable healthcare for children. Donations can be made in any form: cash, PayPal, check, wire transfer, charitable fund distribution, stock transfer, etc. Please provide a note with your donation indicating your intent for deposit into the building fund. We are a Mexican Civil Association, Fundación Padrino Todos Santos AC, and an Authorized Donataria that can receive income tax deductible donations (ISR) from individuals or legal entities.
We offer the following options to receive your donation. If you need a tax-deductible invoice, please let us know via email at esalvatierra@padrinocf.org. For donations over $100,000.00 Mexican pesos, we need to collect extra information to comply with transparency regulations.

To provide a broader range of donation options, we use PayPal as our payment processor. Through this service, you can make one-time or recurring donations. If you choose to make a recurring donation, you can set up a monthly or annual charge to your card, depending on your preference. Another option available is to make your donation by card directly at our offices, we are located on Calle Cuauhtémoc, San Vicente neighborhood in Todos Santos. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. You will be asked for your name, email, phone number and address.

If you would like to make your donation at OXXO, your bank, or another convenience store, that is also possible! You do not need to provide us with your banking information, just your name, email, telephone number, and address.
